Louisville basketball is playing its best basketball of the season so far, as the Cardinals are on a five-game win streak and have been dominating their recent opponents. Mikel Brown Jr. is a key reason this Cardinals program is getting a lot of hype this past week, as he led Louisville to a dominant 41-point win over North Carolina State and to an 11-point victory over Baylor.
The Cards are trending in the right direction, and Pat Kelsey has made it clear he loves where this team is and where they are heading. With the Cards winning five straight, Louisville fans made it clear they believe this team has the talent and depth to make it to the Elite 8 or even the Final Four, as the vast majority in a recent poll believe that is how far this team can go.
However, Louisville just got incredibly disrespected by college basketball analyst Andy Katz, who recently released his Power 37 rankings, and the Cardinals fans can’t help but laugh, cry, and then laugh some more.

Latest power rankings made Louisville basketball fans outraged
These are simply just power rankings, and Louisville fans have made it clear it is something not to take seriously, as fans are calling it “raige bait”, a “joke”, and more. The Cardinals are ranked No. 24, but when fans look closer, they will see they are behind teams like St. Louis, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Wisconsin, and even Kentucky.
The Cardinals ranked at No. 24 in these rankings, and Kentucky, ranked all the way at No. 14, has the Cards fans calling Katz out and just laughing at these rankings.
Pure Rage Bait. Don't fall for it Louisville folks. https://t.co/62SdqlVbpZ

Louisville fans were outraged by these rankings when they were released this morning, calling them an "absolute joke" and asking if he even watches college basketball. Having Kentucky at No. 14 after the Cats just lost to Florida and are 3-2 in their last five games, including a 25-point loss to Vanderbilt, has Louisville fans questioning these rankings heavily.
The college basketball analyst rankings have some major questions about their order, with Kentucky at No. 14 and Louisville at No. 24, leaving Cardinals fans laughing and trying hard not to be “raigebaited.” Louisville is ranked No. 21 in the latest AP Polls, while Kentucky dropped out of the rankings.
Also worth noting is that the Cardinals are ranked ahead of Wisconsin, Alabama, and Tennessee. Louisville coming in at No. 24 has the Cardinals fans outraged at the moment, but the reality is that if Louisville can earn marquee wins over SMU, Clemson, North Carolina, and Miami to end their season, Katz will have no choice but to move them up.
Louisville takes on SMU tomorrow evening in Dallas at 7 p.m. local time.
