Louisville basketball moves on. The Cardinals survived and advanced. That is the best way to explain the Cardinals' victory over Stanford last night.
The Cardinals secured a 75-73 victory over Stanford, and it came down to the buzzer. Louisville looked dead. According to ESPN, the Cardinals had an 8 percent chance to win when Lousiville was down 15 with 13 minutes remaining.
However, thanks to a 16-3 run and then the magic of Chucky Hepburn, the Cardinals secured the victory. Hepburn hit a mid-range jumper as the time struck double-zero, and Louisville moved on to the ACC semifinals.
Every angle of Louisville basketball's Chucky Hepburn's game-winner is sensational
It wasn't how Pat Kelsey drew it up, but at the end of the day, a win is a win. Terrence Edwards Jr. put up a wild shot, the ball bounced around a few times, and Hepburn happened to be at the perfect place at the perfect time and was wide open for an easy buzzer-beater jumper.

Chucky Hepburn didn't have his best game, but he will be remembered for his last shot at the end of the day. Hepburn finished with 20 points, eight assists, two rebounds, and four turnovers while shooting 37.5 percent from the field and 27 percent from beyond the arc.
However, as stated before, it doesn't matter. He hit the shot that mattered the most. Now, the Cardinals came out flat, and whether they were rusty, or banged up, or whatever it may be, it is vital they aren't sluggish vs the No. 10 team in the country, Clemson Tigers.
Louisville vs Clemson will take place tonight at 9:30 p.m. local time. The winner of this matchup will secure a berth in the ACC Championship game on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. local time.
