Another defensive lineman the Cardinals picked up was the Miami transfer, Daylen Russell. The former 3-star recruit out of high school committed to Miami over Nebraska, Florida State, and other Power Four programs. Now he enters the portal as the Hurricanes are making a National Championship run in the College Football Playoffs.

The 6-foot-3, 298-pound defensive lineman is a redshirt freshman and has played in five games. Russell commits to Louisville, earning six tackles, including one for a loss, and will have three years of eligibility left.
