Louisville has a full circle moment as the Cardinals bring back a former 4-star recruit. Benjamin Perry announced on Thursday that he will play his final season with the Cardinals after transferring to UCLA last offseason. Perry committed to Louisville as a 4-star recruit out of high school and played four seasons with the Cardinals.
Perry was a three-year starter for the Cardinals before transferring and logged 132 tackles, including 11 tackles for a loss, and 2.0 sacks. He also added eight pass deflections and a forced fumble. With UCLA, he played only in the first game before missing the rest of the season with an injury. Now, he joins Stanquan Clark, TJ Capers, and Antonio Watts in the linebacker room.
