Louisville landed its fifth Kentucky transfer late Saturday night after the Cardinals added key offensive linemen, Evan Wibberley. The Kentucky transfer may not have logged many snaps with the Wildcats, but in 2024, he was ranked among the best centers by PFF at the FBS level. With Eastern Kentucky in 2024, he earned a grade of 86.3 by Pro Football Focus after starting at center and playing 939 blocking snaps and allowing zero sacks and just 10 total pressures.
Wibberley went on to make the All-C-USA honorable mentions and now will be a key addition to Louisville’s offensive line. The Cardinals have had a huge offseason with the additions of Cason Henry, Eryx Daugherty, Johnnie Brown III, and Anwar O'Neal, but with Louisville in dire need of a true center, Wibberley gives this group a major boost.
