Louisville added depth to its secondary in the second week as the Cardinals landed Texas transfer and former 4-star recruit out of high school, Santana Wilson. The former 4-star ranked No. 140 overall and No. 26 among cornerbacks in the 2024 recruiting class. He committed to the Longhorns over powerhouse programs such as Miami, Oregon, and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-0, 175-pound cornerback now commits to Louisville, ranked as a 3-star transfer, ranked No. 1,106 overall and No. 110 among cornerbacks. The newest Cardinal is already making a good impression on Louisville fans as he sent a fiery message when he committed by stating, “I’m not coming to compete, I’m coming to take over.”
