Louisville football finds another diamond in the rough this offseason as Jeff Brohm lands Houston transfer Joshua Donald. While the 6-foot-2, 320-pound defensive lineman didn’t play this past season, he showed the year prior how impactful he can be. He played for the Appalachian State Mountaineers before his lone season with Houston and started 10 of 11 games, recording 31 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 3.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Brohm has prioritized the trenches this offseason, and Donald is expected to be a key piece for this defensive line depth. He commits to Louisville, ranked as a 3-star transfer and No. 1536 overall and No. 155 among defensive linemen.
