Louisville got some safety help to play with Iowa transfer Koen Entringer when the Cardinals landed a 3-star transfer from Ole Miss, TJ Banks. The Ole Miss transfer spent his first two seasons with the Rebels and now transferred to Louisville after playing in 14 games last season, earning 20 tackles, one tackle for a loss, and one pass breakup.
Coming out of high school, he was a 4-star recruit ranked as high as No. 259 in the 2024 recruiting class and ranked No. 23 among safeties. He committed to Ole Miss after earning 13 offers, including from Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and others. He is a Louisville Cardinal and ranks No. 418 overall and No. 35 among safeties.
