Former Louisville basketball 4-star commit recently transferred to the Michigan State Spartans after spending a season with Florida Athletic, but before the former Cardinal steps foot on campus, he receives heartbreaking news.
According to On3 Sports' Joe Tipton, Glenn has suffered a torn patellar tendon, and the crushing update will cause him to miss the entire season. Glenn was expected to be a crucial addition to Tom Izzo's Spartans this upcoming season, as he was one of their top transfers from the portal.

Ex-Louisville basketball 4-star commit hit with crushing news before next season
Glenn was not only a unanimous 4-star prospect out of high school, but he was also a consensus 4-star prospect in the transfer portal. The former Cardinal joined Michigan State this offseason, back in early April, making it his third team in three years.
The 6-foot-7 small forward took a big leap with FAU, averaging 12.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field and 41 percent from beyond the arc. Glenn was the Spartans' biggest addition in the transfer portal, ranked No. 81 overall and the 15th-best small forward.

This heartbreaking news is a massive blow to Michigan State. Glenn was a perfect fit for Izzo's style of play, and many expected the former Cardinal to take an even bigger leap this upcoming season. Izzo and his Spartans are coming off an Elite Eight run last season and were hoping Glenn would be their missing piece to take them to their first Final Four since 2019.
The Cardinals earned the 4-star prospect's commitment from Indiana back in 2023. He came out of La Lumiere School and was ranked as high as the No. 64 player in the nation by ESPN after nearly shooting 50/40/90 in his senior year. He averaged 15.2 points and 9.1 rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the field and 39 percent from beyond the arc in his senior year.
He was one of Louisville's top commits in 2023 and was a fan favorite as he was a local who grew up in Louisville, Ky., before moving to La Porte, Ind. While at Louisville, he averaged 3.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting 48.6 percent from the floor.
Glenn went on to score 10 points or more four times, 15 points or more in two games, including his season-high 17-point performance against Pitt. He also earned a double-double against Georgia Tech.
