Louisville basketball is trending to be one of the nation's top choices to make a Final Four run in the 2025-26 season after the Cardinals have now made multiple experts' Final Four projections.
The Cardinals brought in some elite talent this offseason, and when fans and national media look at this roster from top to bottom, it is easy to see why so many people are so high on Pat Kelsey's 2025-26 roster. The Cardinals' depth is something Kelsey has harped on this offseason, and it is their depth that will be one of the key reasons this team is playing into April.
Sleepers Media appears to be extremely high on the Cardinals heading into the 2025-26 season, as earlier this offseason, they ranked Louisville's roster as the best in the nation, and now they predict they will lead the nation in points per game and play in the program's first Final Four game since 2013.

Now, this isn't the first time the Cardinals have earned some Final Four hype, as ESPN's Jeff Borzello also predicted Kelsey to earn his first NCAA Tournament win, and to go on a March Madness run and make it to the Final Four. Louisville's expectations are at an all-time high right now, and with under three months until the season starts, it is clear the town is already buzzing.
Louisville is expected to have one of the best offenses in the nation, as it will be led by 5-star freshman Mikel Brown Jr., and three transfers, Isaac McKneely, Adrian Wooley, and Ryan Conwell. The Cardinals' backcourt should be nearly impossible to guard, mixed in with key returners in the frontcourt like J'Vonne Hadley and Aly Khalifa.
This historic college basketball city is craving for some April basketball, and Kelsey appears to have the town screaming Final Four or bust already, and we aren't even halfway through August.
The Cardinals have made it clear that they are just thinking of the next practice and one day at a time, but as for the fans, they are more concerned about the long-term. Well, they are already dreaming of Kelsey and the team cutting down the nets in Indianapolis at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
