Vince Marrow and Jeff Brohm turn to the future as Louisville football learns they will earn a gameday visit from 5-star defensive lineman Kellen Hall, per 247Sports Allen Trieu. The Cardinals are in a massive recruiting showdown with SEC giants and elite programs, as Ohio State, Tennessee, and Alabama are the three other schools that are also earning game-day visits.
The Cardinals are the last school to earn a visit out of these four schools, as he will visit Ohio State on August 30, Tennessee on October 11, Alabama on November 8, and Louisville on November 29. The Cardinals will be facing their in-state rival, the Kentucky Wildcats, with the No. 1 prospect in L&N Stadium on their side, as Hall isn't just a Kentucky native but a Louisville native.

Hall ranks as high as No. 12 in the nation, the No. 3 defensive linemen, and the best prospect from Kentucky, per On3 Sports. They also give Louisville the best percentage to earn his commitment, as the Cardinals are given a 23.5 percent chance of landing Hall, with Tennessee right behind at 20.5 percent. Hall is also ranked as high as a 5-star prospect per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Louisville football earns a visit from 5-star Kellen Hall
Louisville must earn Hall's commitment, as having a recruit from Louisville with his type of hype is extremely rare. The Cardinals are going to have a big-time battle to earn his commitment, but with Marrow on his side, Louisville fans truly believe they have a chance to beat out Tennessee, Alabama, and others.
Hall has received over 18 offers already, including from elite programs like Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, and, of course, the three other programs that are earning a visit. Kentucky has also made an offer to Hall, as they were the first program to do so.
Louisville extended its offer to Hall in January 2025, but the team with the most history with the 5-star lineman is Tennessee. Hall has already taken an unofficial visit and went to a school camp back in June. Louisville must go full steam ahead for this rare 5-star native and do all that they can to earn his commitment over these SEC and Big 10 giants.
