Louisville basketball is gearing up for its 2025-26 season, and the Cardinals fans cannot wait for this highly anticipated season. The Cardinals have one of the best odds to win the National Title, and the fans are counting down the days until tipoff for the first game of the season.

Pat Kelsey has quickly flipped this program around, and a big reason why is his ability to recruit. Chucky Hepburn transferred to the Cardinals last offseason and has quickly become one of the fans' favorite players in recent memory. Hepburn is constantly hyping up Louisville and keeping in touch with the program, and in a recent social media post, the now Toronto Raptor was seen working out and practicing with the team once again.

Chucky Hepburn returns to Louisville and the fans love it

Hepburn had an All-ACC season last year with Louisville, and as the now NBA player is gearing up for his rookie season, he is staying loyal to the Kelsey and the Cardinals and is working out with the Cardinals' 2025-26 roster.

Bringing in Hepburn for workouts and practices doesn't just show how loyal he is, but is also great for this Cardinals team to have veteran leadership ahead of this highly anticipated season. Hepburn has a lot of advice to give after his lone season with the Cardinals and can emerge as someone Mikel Brown Jr. can look up to.

It also makes the fans incredibly happy. Hepburn is emerging as one of the Cardinals' fans' favorite players and is making an impact on the entire city. After Hepburn kissed the floor for his senior day game, the point guard has truly embraced the city of Louisville and has become part of the city.

Hepburn returning to practices and workouts, and supporting the upcoming season, proves Kelsey's culture is one of the best in the nation. Louisville fans love to see alumni return to practices and workouts, and Kelsey has embraced it in his couple years here.

Hepburn will now prepare for his rookie season, during which he will play for both the Toronto Raptors and their NBA G League team, 905 Raptors.
