Mitchell dropped an impressive 35-point performance last night on 72 percent shooting in under 30 minutes. The Cavs guard has scored 30 or more points in three of the four games and is currently in the top 10 in points per game in the NBA.
The former Cardinal is averaging 30.3 points, 4.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds, while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from beyond the arc. The Cavs saw his best performance of the season last night, where he was weaving through the lane with impressive moves the entire night.

FanDuel currently gives Mitchell the 9th-best odds to win the NBA MVP. The former Cardinal has never won the MVP award but has made two All-NBA teams, including last year, when he made the All-NBA first team and finished fifth in the NBA MVP voting.
Mitchell is a six-time NBA All-Star, the most by any former Louisville basketball player. He also has the most points among former Louisville players in the NBA and is only 29 years old. The former Cardinal is red-hot to start his ninth season in the NBA, and the Cardinals fans are loving every second of it.
