Former Louisville basketball star Chucky Hepburn erupted yesterday afternoon for career highs in his NBA G-League game for the Raptors 905. Hepburn signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors after going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, which has him playing for the Raptors' G League team as well as for the Raptors on some nights.

Yesterday afternoon, for the Raptors 905, they had a game against the Greensboro Swarm, who is the Charlotte Hornets G-League team, and he caught fire as he dropped a career high 30 points, while adding eight assists, two rebounds, two steals, and shooting 61 percent from the field and 62 percent from the 3-point line.

Hepburn led the Raptors to a key 124-119 victory in the Tip-Off Tournament. The former Cardinal showcased his ability to playmake and create shots for himself, while also being lethal from downtown, splashing five 3-pointers.

Raptors and Cardinals fans saw Hepburn driving to the rim, finishing through contact, and pulling off crazy acrobatic finishes, while he also splashed 3s off the dribble and on passes. The Raptors 905 are now 5-0, and Hepburn is a huge reason why: the two-way signee is a key starter, giving them valuable minutes and becoming a key two-way guard.

Hepburn played one season with the Cardinals, during which he led Louisville to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in five seasons. He was First-Team All-ACC and ACC Defensive Player of the Year after he averaged 16.4 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game.

He went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft but was quickly signed by the Raptors for his two-way contract. Hepburn has yet to see the floor in an NBA regular-season game, but he did see action during the preseason, including two games in which he scored 12 points in 11 minutes and his career high on the NBA stage, 13 points in 27 minutes.
