Louisville football injuries keep getting worse. The Cards fans learned they will be without Isaac Brown for his third straight game and Keyjuan Brown, after he logged 135 rushing yards in two consecutive games. They also learned that key linebacker Antonio Watts will be out this afternoon, and now, just hours before kickoff, Louisville fans got another injury update on their quarterback.
Miller Moss will be dressed and available as an "emergency quarterback", according to Pete Thamel. Moss is not expected to play with a foot injury, and the Cardinals will now turn to Deuce Adams to start against SMU, with Brady Allen rotating in.

A lot of fans have been wanting Adams to get some more reps for Louisville, and are excited to see the redshirt freshman start. Adams was just a 3-star recruit, but with his ability to use his legs and his strong arm, Louisville fans are excited to see him get more reps.
Moss is having a roller coaster season. When the USC transfer can throw it to his first read or the receiver he wanted to before the snap, he is a good quarterback, but if that receiver is covered or he is under pressure, he keeps making more and more mistakes.
Cardinals fans are excited to see some change this weekend and hope Adams can give this offense a bit of a boost in the final two weeks. And with Moss leaving after this season, it will be good to see if he has potential for next year, or if Brohm will have to hit the Transfer Portal for a fourth straight season.
Adams is just 3-of-4 for 18 passing yards so far this season, getting his four reps against Eastern Kentucky and Bowling Green. He also got snaps against Miami and Virginia Tech, logging five carries for 11 rushing yards on the season.
The Cardinals will kick off with SMU at noon local time from Gerald J. Ford Stadium.
