Louisville football is expected to have one of the best offenses in the ACC, led by preseason All-American Isaac Brown, along with two elite backups, Keyjuan Brown and Missouri transfer Marquise Davis. And then on the outside, Louisville added key transfers Tre Richardson and Lawayne McCoy. And Jeff Brohm landed his next QB, and hopefully for a couple of years, as Ohio State Lincoln Kienholz will look to take that next step and lead this team to its first ACC Title.
The only position the Cardinals still need to work on is the offensive line. Louisville added four transfers so far in Eryx Daugherty, Cason Henry, Anwar O'Neal, and Johnnie Brown III, but the Cardinals need to add a few more players, at least for their depth. Louisville recently lost projected starting lineman Jordan Church to the portal, and an ACC starting offensive tackle just emerged as a perfect replacement.

Jeff Brohm must call former elite ACC OL after entering portal
With Louisville in need of a few more offensive linemen, Wake Forest transfer Melvin Siani emerges as the perfect next target for Brohm. Siani just entered the portal moments ago, and Louisville should be calling his phone immediatley.

Now, he is in the portal yet again, but this time with a much more experienced resume. The Wake Forest transfer is one of the top offensive linemen to enter the transfer portal and is now among the best available. Siani logged 859 snaps last season for the Demon Deacons and didn’t allow a single sack while having an 80.7 PFF pass block grade in 2025.
Siani will likely hear from many Power Four teams, but Brohm and the Cardinals have to try to be one of them. Louisville has had one of the best offseasons in the nation, ranking No. 5, and with the backfield, the Cardinals' offensive line has to play better than it did in 2025 and have depth.
Siani ranks as a 4-star transfer and ranks No. 83 overall and No. 7 among offensive tackles. The Cardinals have a massive opportunity to reach out to a familiar face from the ACC, and he would be a huge addition to the starting front with Lance Robinson, Daugherty, and Henry.
