Louisville football's head coach, Jeff Brohm, has quickly become the most wanted head coach in all of college football. Entering this season, it felt like no one was talking about Brohm, and he was one of the most underrated coaches in the nation.

Josh Pate and David Pollack are just a couple of experts who actually gave the Cards' head coach the flowers he deserved, and now, through nine weeks of football, that has quickly changed. Penn State and Florida both fired their coaches after underwhelming starts to their seasons.

Well, in recent news, another big-time coach was fired as Brian Kelly was let go by the LSU Tigers last night after their blowout loss to Texas A&M at home. It didn't take long, but by no surprise, Brohm's name is immediately considered one of the top choices for the Tigers.

Of course Jeff Brohm is in the mix for LSU's next head coach

Brohm has an impressive 25-9 record at Louisville and has become known as the giant killer. Despite the Cardinals having less talent and being considered the weaker team in key matchups, Brohm has consistently pulled off huge upsets. This has been a staple of his entire coaching career.

He has an impressive 4-2 record against top-five teams since 2018, and has also defeated Clemson last year and Notre Dame the year before with the Cardinals. Now, with Brohm's most recent win over No. 2 Miami, his name is with every head coaching job that opens up, including LSU.

Brohm currently has the sixth-highest odds to become LSU's next head coach, according to these odds. However, the fans aren't worried one bit and find it funny if anyone thinks Brohm would leave the Cards.

Louisville fans know, at heart, that Brohm would never leave, as he isn't just an alum but also his hometown. Brohm is building an elite program at Louisville, and midway through his third season, he has the Cardinals at their best since 2013 and 2014.

It is hard to imagine Brohm leaving the programming he is building with all his connections. He brought this team to its first ACC Championship game and has the most ACC wins since joining the conference in 2023. Now, Louisville is 6-1 and fighting for a top spot again and is emerging as a College Football Playoff sleeper team.

So, whether it is Penn State, Florida, LSU, or any other team with a job opening, the fans are confident Brohm won't leave Louisville but are making it clear he must get paid.
