Louisville basketball dominated its second game of the 2025-26 season as the Cardinals defeated Jackson State 106-70. The Cardinals were led by Ryan Conwell, who finished with 19 points and eight rebounds, and Mikel Brown Jr., who finished with 18 points, five rebounds, and nine assists, but the player everyone is talking about is Kasean Pryor.
The USF transfer made his debut last night for this season and played in his first game since he tore his ACL last fall against Oklahoma. It has been a long-awaited return, and while fans were pleased with his performance, it was his fiery quote after the game that has everyone talking.

Kasean Pryror sends a fiery message before Kentucky clash
Pryor finished the game with six points, three rebounds, one steal, and shot 37.5 percent from the floor in his 16 minutes. The 6-foot-10 forward missed the season-opener, but he made it clear all offseason he wanted to be back for the Kentucky game on Nov. 11.
Well, he got a much-needed warm-up game out of the way last night, and now that Louisville won its first two games, it is officially Kentucky week in the city of Louisville.
Pryor was interviewed after the game, and when he began walking away, he sent a bold and absolutely fiery message that has Louisville fans fired up for the rivalry showdown.
"We'll see you guys on Tuesday after a win. F--k 'em." Pryor stated.

Safe to say he's excited for the Kentucky game.
The whole nation is excited for this game next Tuesday, as it is one of the most anticipated non-conference games of the season. These two teams and their fan bases despise each other, and with both ranked inside the top 12, the whole nation is buzzing with excitement.
Pryor just set the tone and sent the first shot, and now, over the next six days, the fan bases will be going back and forth until the game takes place on Nov. 11 at KFC Yum! Center. The Cards have lost the last three to the Wildcats, but the vibes are different this year. They genuinely believe they have one of the best teams in the nation, and after learning a great deal from the Kansas preseason game, they feel this is the year they can achieve their goal and defeat Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats.
