The Louisville Cardinals' baseball regular season concluded over the weekend. The Cards ended their dreadful five-game losing streak. Louisville baseball finished the regular season 35-20 overall and 15-15 in ACC play.
The Cardinals now shift their focus to the 2025 ACC Baseball Championship, as Louisville will take on the Pittsburgh Panthers this evening at 5 p.m. local time. The Cardinals and Panthers didn't play each other this season, and the winner will face the No. 7 seed, the Duke Blue Devils, tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET.
However, before the postseason begins for the Cardinals, five players earned All-ACC honors after their impressive 2025 season.
Louisville baseball enters ACC Tournament fueled by five key players
Zion Rose and Lucas Moore earned First Team All-ACC honors as the two Cardinals put on a stellar season. Rose's 59 RBIs led the Cardinals this season and were fifth in the ACC. He went on to finish the regular season with a .330 batting average, 11 home runs, and the third-most stolen bases in the ACC with 29.
As for Moore, he had a season Louisville Cardinals fans won't forget. The Cincinnati native led the Cardinals with a .376 batting average, 76 runs, 83 hits, and 46 stolen bases. Not only did all those lead the Cardinals, but his 76 runs and 46 stolen bases also ranked No. 1 in the ACC, 83 hits ranked No. 2 in the league, and his .376 batting average placed No. 5 in the league.
Eddie King and Tague Davis also received All-ACC honors. King made the All-ACC Second Team, and Davis earned All-ACC Third Team. King finished the regular season with a .324 batting average, 13 home runs, and 47 RBIs. Davis broke Louisville's freshman record with 18 home runs, which also led all freshman in the NCAA in home runs this season. The freshman finished the regular season with a .279 average and 50 RBIs.
Finally, Ethan Eberle and Davis were both named on the All-ACC Freshman Team. Eberle finished the season with an impressive 5-2 record and a 3.84 ERA. The freshman pitcher pitched 44.2 innings in his first season.
