Louisville basketball recently learned that it made 5-star wing Abdou Toure's top seven and 5-star point guard Taylen Kinney's top eight. The Cardinals will now face a recruiting showdown with elite schools before they make their decision later in the year.

After the Cardinals made Toure and Kinney's updated list, we decided to break down and provide a big board on every recruit Louisville has received good news from, including official visits, favorite landing spots, updated rankings, and more.

So, here is the Louisville Cardinals 2026 recruiting class wish list.

Taylen Kinney - PG

No question about it, Taylen Kinney is the Cardinals' No. 2 target in the 2026 recruiting class. The Kentucky native has been on Kelsey's radar since he took the job and has made it clear that he wants Kinney to be his next point guard. The 5-star point guard cut his list to just eight schools, and it appears the Cardinals are in a recruiting battle with Kentucky for Kinney.

The Cardinals are On3Sports/Rivals Joe Tipon's favorite to land Kinney, but the Wildcats and Arkansas are close behind. Kinney visited Louisville earlier this summer in June and is ranked as high as No. 11 in the nation and the best point guard in the recruiting class.
