2. Memphis Tigers

A game that might not be as big as the Tennessee Volunteers but has more excitement is the matchup with the Memphis Tigers. This choice was a toss-up between Memphis and Cincinnati, as the Cardinals have played these two teams 190 times combined.

However, Memphis got the nod because the Tigers have been a better team recently and should continue that into next season. Also, the Cardinals' matchup with the Tigers will be played at the KFC Yum! Center for the first time since 2014. These two programs' history goes way back, as they have been a part of the same conference three times and played each other 90 times, with the first matchup being in 1948.

Louisville owns the head-to-head record, 54-36, against the Tigers, and will look for their 55th victory on Dec. 13. The Tigers will be led by their eight transfers, as they lost one of the best players in the nation, PJ Haggerty, to the NBA Draft or the transfer portal.

Memphis has made the NCAA Tournament three of the last four years, making this an excellent rivalry to renew. This rivalry showdown will be thrilling and must-watch basketball for all college basketball fans, as both programs have high expectations entering the 2025-26 season.
