Louisville basketball is rolling at the perfect moment right now as the Cardinals have less than one month of regular-season basketball and just eight games left. Pat Kelsey has this group playing some poetic basketball as the Cardinals are firing on all cylinders, as showcased in their 41-point blowout over the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The Cardinals are riding a four-game win streak at the moment and are beginning to regain that national attention from that dominant victory, thanks to the lethal duo of Mikel Brown Jr. and Ryan Conwell, who combined for 76 points. However, a key reason for this Cardinals four game winning streak is their frontcourt’s increase in production. Khani Rooths and Sananda Fru continue to show how valuable they are  to this team as the two forwards are making their presence felt in the paint.

So, with the Cardinals on a four-game winning streak and the fans buzzing with excitement again, Louisville fans have their eyes set on a deep March Madness run.

Louisville basketball is heating up — and their Final Four odds prove it

Louisville entered the season with the sixth-highest odds to win the 2026 National Title. The Cardinals' odds rose to as high as +1500 after their win over Kentucky, but after Louisville got off to a slow start in their ACC schedule and lost by 31 to Duke, they saw their odds take a significant hit.

Louisville’s Final Four odds dropped to as low as +2500 after their loss to Duke, but with this four-game winning streak and their dominant win over NC State, the Cards' Final Four odds have risen to +1500, according to FanDuel.

Louisville’s +2500 odds at the time were the 23rd highest odds to make the Final Four, and now the Cardinals' +1500 odds have put them up three spots to the 20th highest odds, and the third highest odds from the ACC. The Duke Blue Devils have the third-highest odds with +130 odds to make it to the Final Four, only behind Arizona and Michigan, while North Carolina has the second-highest ACC odds to make it to the Final Four with +950 odds.

Kelsey has quickly turned things around from that Duke loss, but now Louisville will look to make a statement in the final eight games. The Cardinals have four tough road games with SMU, Clemson, North Carolina, and Miami, all of which rank in the top eight of the ACC standings.

The ACC race is picking up, and the Cardinals are right in the mix to send a message to the rest of college basketball as Selection Sunday is one month away.
