Louisville basketball is expected to be one of the top teams in the nation next season. After watching Mikel Brown Jr.'s performance on Sunday against France, the college basketball experts are already beginning to realize just how special this roster is. The Cardinals added two 5-stars in Adrian Wooley and Brown, as well as multiple 4-stars in Isaac McKneely, Ryan Conwell, and Sananda Fru.

This roster will be highlighted by its backcourt, as Brown, Wooley, McKneely, and Conwell are going to be a massive nightmare for any opponent that steps onto the floor with Louisville. The Cardinals are going to have the best backcourt in the nation, and it might not even be close.

Brown's dominant performance on Sunday has already sparked speculation on social media, and Terrence Oglesby took to his social media to express that Louisville is going to be a must-watch team, and they will likely be able to score the ball quite possibly better than anyone in the country.

The Cardinals' four incoming guards are going to take time to gel together, but once the chemistry is established and the incoming players integrate with key returning players like Aly Khalifa, Kasean Pryor, J'Vonne Hadley, and Kobe Rodgers, then this team might become an unstoppable force. Brown's performance on Sunday skyrocketed all conversations about Louisville and the upcoming season, and many experts took to X to discuss how scary and dominant the Louisville Cardinals' guards are going to be.

One of those experts was Oglesby. The college basketball analyst took to X and not only praised Brown but also praised the Cardinals' guards, stating, "Louisville might score 120 one game," and expressed his hope to call a game.

Brown who is projected to be a top-five pick in 2026 NBA Draft and is the No. 1 point guard in the 2025 cycle is going to be joined by McKneely who splashed 101 3-pointers last year on 42.1 percent, Conwell who splashed 99 3-pointers on 41. 2 percent shooting from downtown, and add Hadley who shot 38.1 percent from downtown, and Rodgers who shot 45 percent from 3-point line. The Cardinals' big four is going to be lethal; they all averaged 14 points or more last season, including Wooley, who averaged 18.8 points, McKneely, who averaged 14.4 points, and Conwell, who averaged 16.5 points per game.

What is scary is Oglesby forgot Wooley, who was a 5-star pickup for Kelsey, who splashed 73 3-pointers on 42 percent shooting from beyond the arc, too. While many may think of Brown, McKneely, and Conwell first, it is equally crucial to remember the 5-star sophomore guard. This roster wasn't just thrown together, and Kelsey didn't just go after the best targets available.

Kelsey perfectly built this unstoppable roster with a genius master plan. The Cardinals' head coach had a comprehensive plan to target elite 3-point shooting to space the floor with his key returning forwards, and it worked to perfection.

Louisville should easily surpass 120 points for multiple games. In their frontcourt, they will be led by Khalifa, Pryor, and Hadley, all of whom can shoot from beyond the arc and create open shots for elite shooters. Brown will lead Louisville, and he will run the show, but his supporting cast might be the best in the nation.
