Pat Kelsey continues to cook this offseason as the Louisville Cardinals officially landed Ryan Conwell, per Jonathan Givony. The Xavier transfer is ranked as high as No. 14 in the transfer portal and was among the top players remaining in the portal.
It is reported that Ryan Conwell visited Louisville this afternoon after his trip to Indiana. The elite shooting guard transfer out of Xavier is ranked as a 4-star player in the transfer portal after being named to the All-Big East Third-Team, as he was the seventh leading scorer per game in the Big East.
Last season he averaged 16.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting an impressive 45 percent from the floor and 41.3 percent from downtown.

Louisville Basketball lands enormous 4-star player in transfer portal
The Cardinals will have one of the best backcourts in the nation, and now they will have Mikel Brown Jr., Adrian Wooley, and Ryan Conwell. The Cardinals' glaring kryptonite last season was their shooting from beyond the arc, and Kelsey has addressed that this offseason.

Last season, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard for Xavier scored 20 points or more in 12 games, including an impressive 34-point performance against Villanova and a season-high 38-point performance against the No. 25 team in the nation, Marquette.
The Cardinals' new sharpshooter splashed three or more 3-pointers in 19 games last season, including seven threes against Marquette in that 38-point performance. In his three years with the Musketeers, he shot 39.3 percent from beyond the arc, and in the last two seasons, he averaged 2.9 3-pointers in each season.
The Cardinals have been one of the most involved teams in this offseason as they are still awaiting news from players like Isaac McKneely. It seems unlikely that the Virginia transfer will choose the Cardinals after Wooley and Conwell committed.
Kelsey and his staff have exceeded all expectations this off-season as the Cardinals are landing massive commits. It was reported Louisville was expected to spend up to $10 million this offseason, but to go out and land two players in the top 15 is a dream come true for the Cardinals nation.
