Louisville basketball is taking on the Kansas Jayhawks this evening in a long-awaited exhibition game. Cardinals fans had many questions entering this showdown, and the health of Kasean Pryor and who will start are two glaring ones.
Entering this matchup with Kansas, Cardinals fans assumed Pryor would either come off the bench or be out. Just minutes ago, Louisville revealed its starting five, and it appears Pryor and one of the Cardinals' newcomers are sidelined for this first preseason showdown.
Louisville basketball will be without two players in the exhibition game against Kansas
Pryor and newcomer from the NBA Africa program, Mouhamed Camara, are out for tonight's preseason showdown with the Jayhawks. Pryor is coming off an ACL injury from last season, and many expected him to be out. Pryor's timeline has been unclear as of late, but he was seen warming up before the game, which is a good sign for the future.
No official statement from the team yet, but @804derm says on the Louisville pregame show that both Kasean Pryor and Mouhamed Camara won't be available tonight vs. Kansas.

No reason given for Camara's absence.
Head coach Pat Kelsey has not yet said whether he will be available for Louisville's first regular-season game against South Carolina State, but Pryor remains optimistic in his interviews, hinting he will play on Nov. 3.
As for Camara, it is not announced as of now why Camara is out. The 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward is an athletic two-way player who has turned heads this offseason. Camara averaged 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game while shooting 60 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from downtown last season.
The Cardinals' starting lineup will be just as we and many others predicted, with Mikel Brown Jr. at point guard, Isaac McKneely at shooting guard, and Ryan Conwell at small forward. Joining Conwell in the frontcourt will be key returner J'Vonne Hadley and 6-foot-11 forward Sananda Fru at center.
Louisville basketball is back, and while the fans understand this is just an exhbidition game, this fanbase is buzzing with excitment. The fans love this roster and cannot wait to see these newcomers take the floor. The KFC Yum! Center is jam-packed for this preseason showdown, and are amped for some college basketball.
