6. Will the three guards be fine with a smaller role?

The Cardinals added three players from the transfer portal, and they all are listed as either shooting guards or combo guards. Adrian Wooley emerges as one of the top players in the nation as he is ranked as a top 10 player in the transfer portal and a 5-star.

Joining Wooley is Isaac McKneely, who made 101 3-pointers last season on 43.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc, and Ryan Conwell, who made 99 3-pointers on 41.2 percent shooting from downtown. All three guards will battle it out for two starting roles, but at the end of the day, these three players will have smaller roles than they did the year before.

Louisville will have a 5-star point guard leading the ship, and these three guards will share that next role. If Louisville wants a shot at a National Championship, they will have to play selfless basketball and understand the mission.

The Cardinals like to play fast and move the ball, making it clear that the guards should gel pretty quickly. While all three players were the best players on their former squad, that might not be the case here, and they will have to work together, share the rock, and gain chemistry.
