2. Which transfer is coming off the bench?
The Louisville Cardinals added three elite shooters and guards from the transfer portal, and a glaring question arose about who would come off the bench. Many believe that 5-star Adrian Wooley will start at shooting guard, and Ryan Conwell will be moved to small forward, playing a position up, meaning Isaac McKneely will come off the bench.
That is a likely situation, but there is also a possibility that McKneely could start over Wooley or Conwell in either position. Louisville has the best backcourt in the nation, and this problem of having multiple options is a good one to have.
The 5-star point guard will join these three transfers, Mikel Brown Jr., and Kobe Rodgers. McKneely was the last of the three to commit to Louisville, suggesting that he knows what he's getting himself into, even if it means coming off the bench. Kelsey would not have pitched the idea of starting if he didn't believe he would. So, whatever McKneely was pitched after the Cardinals landed Wooley and Conwell, it is clear he is happy as he decided to commit to the Cardinals over Tennessee.
Kelsey will have a long summer to decide on the starting lineup he wants to run, but at the end of the day, the Cardinals are set to be one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the nation.
