The Louisville basketball schedule is beginning to be released, as the Cardinals have been informed of two important dates and locations this afternoon. The Cardinals are set to have a thrilling out-of-conference schedule, highlighted by the Kentucky Wildcats, along with a couple of other SEC giants.

Louisville will tip off against Kentucky on a highly controversial date, as the two in-state rivals will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Both fan bases were outraged, as this blockbuster showdown should be primetime in December on National TV.

Louisville has now learned that its blockbuster rivalry showdown with Coach Calipari and Arkansas will take place on December 3, making it appear that Louisville will have a lot of fun in the first week of December.

Thursday afternoon, Louisville learned that their showdown with Indiana will take place on Saturday, December 6, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. These two historic programs will go head-to-head at 2 p.m. on CBS.

Later this afternoon, more exciting news broke, as the Cardinals learned that their ACC/SEC Challenge blockbuster showdown with the Arkansas Razorbacks would take place on Dec. 3, meaning Louisville would play Arkansas and Indiana in the same week.

The Cardinals are poised for a thrilling November and December. The Cardinals have been waiting for a schedule like this to emerge, and while the games against Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee are scheduled for either Tuesday or Wednesday, this schedule is going to be must-watch TV every night.

Louisville will travel to Bud Walton Arena to take on Calipari and hope to earn the sweet taste of revenge against the fans' No. 1-hated coach. The time and TV station have yet to be announced, but what we do know is that it will be broadcast on either ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, the ACC Network, or the SEC Network. With both teams being consensus top 15 teams in way-too-early rankings, this prime Wednesday night game will most likely be on ESPN or ESPN 2 and be the main event on Dec 3.

The Cardinals playing against Arkansas in December is exactly what fans wanted and begged for. This was the perfect date for this matchup as it will be the star of Louisville's busy December.

The Cardinals will travel to Arkansas on Dec. 3, Indiana on Dec. 6, play Memphis at home on Dec. 13, and back on the road against Tennessee. The Cardinals ' out-of-conference schedule proves this team is setting itself up for a fun December and, hopefully, an even better April.
