Louisville basketball is off to a dominant start this offseason with the Transfer Portal, as Pat Kelsey is building an eye-popping roster in college basketball. The Cardinals have landed three big-time commitments from transfers, as well as learned Adrian Wooley will officially return, making their biggest area of need at the moment the power forward.
Louisville's projected 2026-27 lineup is Final Four caliber and Pat Kelsey isn't done
Louisville is in the mix for a few power forwards, including Robert Morris transfer DeSeane Goode. However, on Sunday afternoon, Louisville learned that 4-star transfer Goode had committed to an ACC foe over the Cardinals, after his recent visit.

Goode has been at the top of our list for the power forward position all offseason. The 4-star transfer is coming off a dominant season with Robert Morris, where he earned All-First Team in the conference and won the Horizon Player of the Year award.
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward averaged 15.2 points and 8.7 rebounds after his 287 rebounds, and 62.9 shooting field goal percentage led the conference. He splashed 36 3’s while shooting 57 percent from beyond the arc, and emerged as a perfect target to be Kelsey’s stretch four.
Louisville hosted Goode for a visit later last week, and shortly after, he went straight to Miami, where he ultimately committed to Kentucky over Louisville, Kansas, and others. Goode ranks No. 70 in the Transfer Portal and No. 18 among power forwards.
Louisville basketball's No. 1 PF target after DeSean Goode update is clear
A big reason why Goode might have committed to Miami over Louisville is that the Cardinals are trending with 4-star transfer Alvaro Folgueiras. The Cardinals have been expected to land the Iowa transfer for a few days, and some believe the commitment announcement is coming sooner rather than later.
Nothing official has been announced, but On3 Sports is very confident Louisville will land the 4-star, giving the Cardinals a 100 percent chance of earning the commitment. The 6-foot-10, 230-pound forward is exactly what Louisville needs, as he is a stretch-four who can space out the floor for Flory Bidunga.
Folgueiras has made 101 3’s in his career so far, including a career high 45 while shooting 41.3 percent from beyond the arc in his sophomore season with Robert Morris. He is ranked as high as No. 13 among power forwards and No. 54 overall after his lone season with Iowa.
