Elite backcourt addition
While the Cardinals will have Adrian Wooley and London Johnson, they will need to go out and get that elite guard. Kelsey went out and got Chucky Hepburn his first offseason and Ryan Conwell, Isaac McKneely, and Wooley last offseason. He now has to go do that again.
Louisville basketball’s No. 1 monster target in 2026 transfer portal is obvious
Hopefully, he doesn’t do what he did last year and only get guards, but Louisville needs depth for its backcourt. The Cards don’t know what to expect from Johnson as he will give Louisville some G-League experience, and hopefully Wooley can take that big leap and be a star like he was in the freshman season, but if Kelsey can go get an elite point guard to start with Wooley and have Johnson come off the bench, that would be an ideal situation.
Kelsey claimed Louisville is PGU, and while that didn’t help him land Taylen Kinney, maybe that can help him get a top point guard from the Transfer Portal. Louisville needs some scorers this offseason and needs some depth for its backcourt.
