Louisville basketball learned that it earned a visit from a 4-star small forward, Cole Cloer. The North Carolina native will visit Pat Kelsey on August 30 and is expected to make his commitment this fall.

Cloer recently cut his list down to eight schools after receiving over 20 offers. The Cardinals are in an ACC recruiting war, as the North Carolina Tar Heels are the dominant favorite to land Cloer. The other six programs in Cloer's top eight include North Carolina State, Indiana, UConn, Florida, Alabama, and Virginia. He has taken unofficial visits to Alabama, North Carolina, and North Carolina State and will make official visits to Florida on Sept. 6 and Alabama on Oct. 18.

Pat Kelsey's injury update on Kasean Pryor

Kelsey revealed an update on Kasean Pryor's injury last week, which Louisville basketball fans love. Last season, Pryor suffered a torn ACL in the seventh game of the season, making Kelsey go year one without one of his crucial incoming transfers.

Kelsey stated last week that his rehab is going "great" and "he is on pace and probably even ahead of schedule." The Cardinals fans can't wait to see Pryor back on the court, and after this massive update, it is clear he is trending to play in November.

Louisville football earns massive 4-star commit

Louisville football learned that it regained 4-star Josiah Hope's commitment earlier this week. The Kentucky native initially committed to Louisville, then flipped his commitment to Purdue, and then flipped back to Jeff Brohm on July 24.

Hope marks as one of Brohm's top recruits now, as he ranks as high as the No. 1 player from Kentucky and the No. 357 recruit in the 2026 cycle per On3 Sports. The Cardinals have now earned four of the top five recruits out of Kentucky and six of the top 10.
