Griffin Scroggs | C | Appalachian State
The former Georgia commit and 2022 National Champion, Griffin Scroggs, is now an Appalachian State transfer and emerging as one of the best centers still available in the portal. The former 3-star recruit out of high school was ranked as high as the No. 5 center in the 2022 class and was invited to the 2022 All-American Bowl.
He went on to commit to Georgia, ranked No. 782 in the 2022 recruiting class, but later entered the transfer portal after redshirting his freshman season. He hasn’t received much time on the field for center or the offensive line, as his primary position is for special teams, but with not many centers available, Scroggs is a solid option for backup. He ranks No. 1,102 overall and No. 78 among interior offensive linemen.
