With Louisville having to rebuild its secondary for the second year in a row, someone the Cardinals should highly consider is freshman transfer Tony Williams. The UCF transfer was a consensus 4-star recruit out of high school after earning 22 tackles, 16 pass breakups, and five interceptions in his junior season. He was ranked as high as No. 404 in the 2025 recruiting class and ranked No. 37 among safeties.
Now, after not earning many reps in his true freshman season, the former 4-star is in the portal and emerges as a glaring target for Louisville’s defense. He is ranked No. 559 in the Transfer Portal and No. 52 at safety.
