Louisville football enters top 7 for elite in-state recruit
Savage size and ability to cover and makes crucial tackles is one of the key reasons why defensive coordinator, Mark Hagen loves this in-state recruit so much.
Savage had an impressive junior campaign as he had 141 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, three sacks and one interception. According On3 Recruiting metrics, Jeff Brohm and his Cardinals have the best chances to land this in-state linebacker.
Cardinals are given a 39.4% chance, as Louisville has had two unofficial visits from Savage so far. He went and visited the campus back in 2024 twice, as Louisville made their official offer to Savage on September 4, 2024.
Louisville football seems to be all in on Jacob Savage and thinks he could fit their scheme perfectly.
Louisville football has landed multiple official visits from 4-star recruits this spring, as Jeff Brohm and his staff are clearly upping the recruiting at this time. DC, Mark Hagen and his staff are trying to compete for an ACC Championship, and last year proved that the defensive holes have to be filled.
Cardinals are currently ranked 41st in the nation for their six commits in the class of 2026. Stay updated with all Louisville football recruiting news and updates, here.
