may have the weekend off, but the Cardinals' fans' confidence skyrocketed this afternoon. The ACC had a massive noon kickoff showdown between Georgia Tech and No. 12 Clemson, and the Cardinals fans can't help but laugh as they watched Dabo Swinney and his Tigers lose for the second time in just three games.
The Tigers went on the road to take on the Yellow Jackets in Week 3, and Clemson once again got off to an incredibly slow start, which ended up costing them. The Tigers fell 13-0 early and ended up losing 24-21 on a last-second 55-yard field goal.
While the Tigers fans are stunned and disappointed, Louisville fans are all of a sudden confident that they can not only beat Clemson on November 14, but can be an ACC Title contender.
Louisville football fans love to watch Clemson lose
The Cardinals' blockbuster showdown on a Friday night in November no longer looks like a make-or-break game for Louisville, but more of a spoiler game for the Tigers. Clemson is 1-2 through three games of the 2025 season, and appears to be college football's most overrated team so far.
Entering the 2025 season, not only did the Tigers have a dominant chance to win the ACC, but they were many experts' predictions to win the 2026 College Football Playoffs.

The Tigers have some easy opponents coming up in the next few weeks, and will have a chance to grow confidence and get healthy, but Clemson hasn't played up to their expectations or standards and has laid a complete dud through three weeks.
The Tigers have to play SMU, Duke, and Florida State before the Cardinals. That four-game stretch is going to make or break Clemson's season, and it appears Louisville will have a massive opportunity to put the stamp on the Tigers' season and end their ACC Title hopes and College Football Playoff dreams.
Louisville fans are confident they can run all over this Clemson defense again after seeing Haynes King run over 100 yards and lead Georgia Tech to a victory. Last year, Louisville dominated the trenches and was the more physical team, and won 33-21 after they ran for 210 yards, including Isaac Brown's 151 yards on 20 carries.
There is a lot of football before November 14, but Louisville fans are watching this Clemson team through three weeks, and the Cardinals fans are only getting more and more confident for Week 12 and their ACC Title chances.
