Louisville football starts 2-0 for the third straight season, but the Cardinals fans are not as confident about this 2025 Jeff Brohm squad as they are with the previous two. Louisville dominated Eastern Kentucky in Week 1, but last night against James Madison, the Cards came out slow and were down 7-6 at the end of the first half.
While Louisville ended up pulling off the comeback, Jeff Brohm made it clear there is a lot of work to get done if they want a shot at the ACC Title. Well, Brohm isn't the only one, as FanDuel recently updated its ACC Conference Winners odds, and the Cardinals plummeted after their underwhelming Week 2 performance.

Louisville's ACC Title odds takes massive hit After Week 2 Scare
Entering the Cardinals' fall camp, they had the third-best odds to win the ACC at +650 odds. However, entering the season and after the media predicted the Cardinals to come in fifth place, FanDuel dropped the Cardinals to +800 odds, but still had the third-best odds.
Florida State jumped the Cardinals, as the Seminoles now have the third-best odds to win the ACC with +1000 odds after dominating Alabama in Week 1. Clemson and Miami both still remain with the two best odds, but Louisville is now tied with SMU and Georgia Tech for the ACC Title with +1100 odds.
The Cardinals have a lot of work to do if they want to win their first ACC Title, and FanDuel is saying that quietly by dropping their odds by a significant amount after just two weeks.
Louisville will have its first ACC test in Week 5 against Pitt, and if the Cardinals want a shot at that ACC crown, they must leave Pitt with a win and enter Hard Rock Stadium in Week 8 undefeated. Louisville enters its first bye week of the season, and while they would have liked it later in the year, Brohm and his team can use it to get healthy and improve in crucial areas like the offensive line.
FanDuel giving Louisville the fourth-best odds is letting the ACC football fans know they have a shot at returning to the championship game, but Florida State is emerging as a real threat after their dominant first two weeks. Louisville fans must keep an eye on the Seminoles as they are proving to be a legit contender for that No. 2 spot.
