Louisville football gets massive recruiting update from 4-star defensive phenom

Louisville football has had some struggle recruiting in the class of 2025, but things seem to be much brighter for the class of 2026, as Cardinals have received official visits from multiple 4-star prospects, and others.

Louisville football found out their 2026 class is set to take off this summer, as they received multiple announcements from 4-stars stating they will make an official visit to campus this summer.

Leading the charge is Preston Ashley, Karsten Busch, and more, but Jeff Brohm and his staff just received great news that a unanimous 4-star is set to step on campus summer and hopefully Cardinals can try and seal the deal.

Louisville football lands visit from 4-star prospect, Asharri Charles

Louisville football recently found out that they will be getting an official visit from one of the best edge rushers in the class of 2026, as Asharri Charles from Venice, Fla. has made his official visit dates set.

Jeff Brohm and his staff was just the fifth school to offer Charles a scholarship offer, as Louisville sent their offer back on May 22, 2024, and just recently found out they will get their visit with the unanimous 4-star prospect on June 13.

The 6-2, 230-pounder attends Venice High School, where he is ranked as a unanimous top 25 edge rusher in his class, and as high as No. 186 in the entire nation by On3.

Charles also announced he will make visits to LSU, Ohio State, Miami, and Texas A&M. On3 Recruiting Rankings gives Jeff Brohm and company just a 1.3% chance to land this highly-recruited prospect, and the current leader is Miami with an 87.2% chance of landing the edge rusher.
