Jeff Brohm just finished his third regular season with the Louisville Cardinals and punched his ticket to the Boca Raton Bowl, where Louisville football will face Toledo. The Cardinals finished their roller coaster of a season 8-4 after they snapped their three-game losing streak and defeated Kentucky 41-0. The Cardinals will begin their bowl game preparation, but until the week of the bowl, all attention is on the Transfer Portal.
Louisville has only lost one player to the portal, as Daeh McCullough entered the portal after two seasons with Louisville. Cardinals fans are expecting more in the coming weeks, even as they already know they will lose key players like Chris Bell.
With Bell going to the NFL after this season, and Caullin Lacy graduating, the Cards have to go find their next star receiver. Well, Louisville fans are keeping tabs on all the players entering the portal, and just today, they are turning to this one-star receiver.

Louisville football has a clear transfer portal target at wide receiver
Hayes Fawcett broke the news this afternoon that the star wide receiver from Yale will enter the transfer portal after a massive season with the Bulldogs. Nico Brown will immediatley become a top-rated transfer in the portal, as the star receiver was one of the best playmakers in college football this season.

The Cardinals are going to lose nearly 1,500 receiving yards after Lacy and Bell leave. The Cards will have to try to replace these top two receivers, and Brown is the perfect target for Brohm and Deion Branch to go after.
The 6-foot 185 185-pound receiver is coming off a career season where he took over for the Bulldogs' offence. He logged 71 receptions for 1,05 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. He earned 63 receiving yards or more in every game this season, including seven games with 100 receiving yards or more. His best game came against Harvard, where he logged eight catches for 189 yards and one receiving touchdown.
It will be interesting to see who all goes after Brown, as he will have to make a big jump from FCS to FBS, but he is a player Brohm should absolutely go after. The wide receiver room is one of the Cardinals' biggest needs this offseason, and with just a few weeks until the portal opens, Brown instantly becomes a realistic target for Louisville.
