Louisville football can't miss right now. Jeff Brohm and his staff just landed a crucial 4-star defensive linemen top 12, as the Cardinals now are one of the front runners to land Jamarcus Whyce.
On Monday night, the Cardinals secured a spot in Whyce's top 12 as he announced on X. The other teams in his final 12 include, Tennessee, West Virginia, Illinois, Michigan State, Auburn, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina State, Missouri, and Maryland.

Louisville football jumps Notre Dame for 4-star DL in crucial recruiting update
Whyce is a 4-star DL out of Ohio, and is ranked as high No. 362 in the nation, No. 18 from Ohio, and No. 32 in his position, according to On3. On3 Recruiting predicts the Cardinals to have the second best chances of landing Whyce with a 18.7 percent. The prediction hasn't been updated as Miami of Ohio has the best odds, but the Redhawks did not make the 4-star's top 12.
The potential future Cardinal is from Daytona, Ohio where he attends Trotwood-Madison High School. Whyce secured with 64 tackles, 13.5 for a loss, and seven sacks in his junior season.
The Cardinals just made theri official offer earlier this year, and have yet to receive a visit from Whyce. The Ohio native received offers from elite programs that didn't make his final 12, such as Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Auburn.
Louisville football has been in the news a lot for their recruiting, as the Cardinals are ranked No. 8 in the nation for their 11 committments in the class of 2026. The Cardinals have landed four recruits in the last 10 days.
