1. Offensive Line
Another underwhelming position group was the offensive line. To start the season, Louisville's offensive line was one of the worst in the nation at both pass and run block. The entire running back room has been banged up with injuries all season, as they have been getting hit in the backfield all season long.
Louisville is going to lose the majority of its offensive line this offseason, as a handful are redshirt seniors, including its star center, Pete Nygra. The Cards are hoping to keep their star running backs, and with this offense being run-dominated, they need a better unit up front.
Winning trenches is the most important aspect of football, and this season, the Cardinals just haven't been able to do that with this underwhelming offensive line. The Cards need to make this position group the most important area to attack this offseason, and do everything they can to keep their star RBs.
