2 dream, 2 reach, and 2 realistic Transfer Portal targets for Louisville basketball
On3 Industry Ranking was one of the first to report that Louisville will have a massive opportunity this weekend and will be the first program to host the Kansas transfer for a visit. The Cardinals fans have made it clear they want some elite frontcourt additions this offseason from the portal, and Kelsey is wasting no time and is swinging for the fences with the best player in the portal.
Louisville basketball set to host 5-star transfer Flory Bidunga
The Kansas transfer is coming off a dominant season where he averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game while shooting 64.0 percent from the field. The 5-star transfer ranks No. 1 overall in the portal and is the best center available.

The Cards have already learned they will lose three former 4-star commitments to the portal in Khani Rooths, Mouhamed Camara, and 2025-26 center Sananda Fru, but if Louisville can land Bidunga, it would be a program-changing addition that would be a drastic increase for its frontcourt.
Louisville needs a center who can play physical basketball and can have a dominant paint presence on both ends of the floor, and the 5-star transfer is the dream addition. He is coming off a season in which he logged 13 double-doubles and scored 20 or more points five times. He earned All-Big 12 First Team and won the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award after leading the conference in blocks with 91 on the season and averaging 2.6 per game.
He ranked No. 4 in Division I basketball in total blocks and No. 6 in Division 1 basketball for blocks per game. The 6-foot-10, 235-pound center is immediately Louisville’s glaring No. 1 target in the portal, with the Cardinals earning a visit Friday.
Louisville is expected to be in a heated recruiting battle for the 5-star transfer as Duke, Texas Tech, and Michigan are also expected to be part of Bidunga’s recruiting process. The Kansas transfer is a former 5-star transfer who earned an offer from Louisville back in October 2022, and now, with him once again available, Kelsey and Louisville are trying to land the nation’s best transfer.
