Louisville football is set to return to the field this Saturday against Bowling Green from L&N Stadium. The Cardinals are off to a 2-0 start for the third consecutive season under head coach Jeff Brohm, and will look to be 3-0 after Saturday's showdown.
Louisville opens up as dominant favorites over the Falcons, but it is worth noting Bowling Green did go into Penn State last season and took the Nittany Lions down to the wire, but fell just short, 34-27. The Falcons are a sneaky team as former NFL legend Eddie George leads them.
The former dominant running back for the Houston Oilers has a stacked resume, but now that he is the head coach for Bowling Green and going up against Louisville, the former running back not just high praise for Louisville's All-American Isaac Brown, but compared him to an NFL Hall of Famer.

Eddie George makes a bold Isaac Brown prediction
Entering the 2025 season, Brown was one of the most talked-about running backs in the nation. He earned Preseason First Team All-American by a handful of news outlets, and returned to college football with the most rushing yards and yards per carry in 2024.
Brown's true freshman resume was one to remember as he shattered Lamar Jackson's freshman rushing record with 1,173 rushing yards and did so while averaging an impressive 7.1 yards per carry. Now, he is in his sophomore season and has not skipped a beat, and George had nothing but high praise for Louisville's star running back.
"He's a phenomenal back," George stated on Brown. "He's explosive, and he can make you pay. It's going to be important for us to corral him. Everything starts with the running back, Isaac Brown, and he's just a sophomore. He might have a room at the Heisman House one day. That's the way it looks on tape."
Through just two games of the 2025 season, Brown has been nothing short of dominant. He was the leading rusher in the ACC before Louisville's bye week with just 18 carries. He has logged 230 rushing yards, three touchdowns, and is averaging 12.8 yards per carry, which leads the nation.
Brown is a player who definitely has a shot at the Heisman in his Louisville career. The Cardinals fans are always happy to hear the opposing coach give their players some high praise, but this one just means more coming from a former NFL running back like George.
