Louisville basketball gets another crucial injury report update on its star forward, Kasean Pryor. The Cardinals forward is coming off a devastating ACL injury from last season, when he tore it against Oklahoma in the seventh game of the season.
Pat Kelsey gave the first injury update last month at his press conference when he reported Pryor is ahead of schedule and is rehabbing great. He stated he isn't sure if he will be ready for game one, as that isn't his job, but the timetable is usually nine to 12 months, and he should be ready to go.
Well, on Monday, Pryor gave his injury update on social media as the star forward posted a video of himself with a caption"Be back soon" and a big smiley face.

The Cardinals have seen photos of Pryor in action this offseason, but have yet to see the big man in motion. This shows massive progress for the forward knee and has Louisville fans in a complete frenzy. The Cardinals fans blew this video up overnight and are thinking the elite forward could be ready by November now.
Coming off a torn ACL, seeing the forward running the length of the court and jumping in the air and using that knee to dunk is a significant injury update. Pryor is making massive strides in the right direction and has a legitimate chance to be ready for that game one.
Pryor is likely to come off the bench to start the season, as he will be coming off an injury, but he has the potential to rise as a starter and be a significant piece for Kelsey's roster.
The 6-foot-10 forward dunking the ball is the exact news Louisville basketball fans wanted to see and hear in August, and now they need to see him take that next step and participate in 5v5 scrimmages.
