Tyrone Riley IV

Louisville is reportedly hosting the San Francisco transfer Tyrone Riley IV on campus for an official visit on Sunday, April 12. The Cards are in a recruiting battle with Oregon, as the Ducks are reportedly also high on Riley’s radar, but Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals will host Riley first.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound wing is coming off a season where he earned a spot on the All-WCC Second-Team. Riley averaged 12.2 points while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the arc and added 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals per game.

He emerges as a good backup option for the Cardinals after not landing Byrd, as he ranks as a 4-star transfer. 247 Sports ranks him No. 70 overall and No. 8 among small forwards, and On3 Sports ranks him No. 71 overall and No. 7 among small forwards.
