4. Dedan Thomas

The sophomore transfer point guard from UNLV is ranked as high as the No. 4 best player in the portal according to 247Sports and is the No. 3 point guard in both 247Sports and On3. Dedan Thomas is one of the best players in the portal for elite playmaking, can create his shot, and is an elite scorer and facilitator.

The UNLV transfer averaged 15.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists while shooting 41.3 percent from the floor and 35.3 percent from beyond the arc. Thomas demonstrated his elite scoring in multiple scenarios last season for the Rebels, scoring 20 points or more in five games, including his season-high three 22-point performances.

The 6-foot-1 point guard is a unanimous 4-star prospect in this year's transfer portal. The sophomore guard has limitless potential and could be one of the best offensive point guards in the ACC next year.

Thomas started in every game for UNLV last season and displayed his elite playmaking skils in multiple games. While his three-point shooting is a concern for this Kelsey team, Mikel Brown Jr. is expected to take over this program and be the man next season. Thomas would be a great facilitator next to Brown who can be an elite scorer from inside the arc.
