Louisville football is looking for a massive bounce-back win as the Cardinals host the Clemson Tigers tonight at L&N Stadium. The Cardinals suffered a devastating loss last week to Cal when they were 18.5-point favorites and had everything on the line. Now, Louisville will try to keep any hope alive of making the ACC Championship game as they will try to defeat Clemson for just the second time in program history.

The Cardinals are 7-2 and 4-2 in the ACC, while Clemson is having one of the most disappointing seasons in college football, with a 4-5 and 3-4 record in the ACC. Quarterback Cade Klubnik leads Clemson, while the Cardinals will rely heavily on Keyjuan Brown and his rushing attack.

With Louisville and Clemson kicking off tonight under the lights from L&N Stadium, let's look at the odds and make some predictions.

Prediction

Brohm is known for having his team ready for big-time games, and while Clemson may not be the team many expected them to be, they are still led by Dabo Swinney and remain a powerhouse program. Brohm isn't taking this game lightly, and with him wanting another 10-win season and to make a top bowl game outside the College Football Playoffs, he is going to have this Cardinals team hungry.

Louisville gets a massive boost on the defensive side with Stanquan Clark making his return. The elite linebacker was one of the Cardinals' top tacklers a season ago and has missed every game since SMU in Week 2 with a leg injury. This Cardinals defense is going to have to play much better against the pass this week, as Klubnik is an elite thrower and can do a lot with his arm.

Expect this Cardinals team to start hot, just as it did against Miami. Brohm is going to have these guys ready to go and will try to send a message. Louisville is going to win this game similarly to last year, with a dominant rushing attack and a physical defense.

Prediction: Louisville 34 Clemson 30
