Entering the offseason, Louisville football fans were concerned about several positions, but one stood out above the rest on offense. The Cardinals' wide receiver room lost some key players, including star receiver Ja'Corey Brooks, prompting fans to demand that the Cardinals explore the Transfer Portal.

Louisville knew they had a good one-two punch option in Chris Bell and Caullin Lacy, but after those two, they had a big hole. Well, the Cardinals went out and landed multiple receivers from the Transfer Portal, but Jeff Brohm made it clear in his press conference yesterday that the Cardinals' receiver problem is no longer an issue.

Jeff Brohm revealed Louisville's WR room is deep

Brohm was asked about his wide receiver room and who is trending to be the third starter for Brohm. While he didn't state who will be WR3, he did make sure to emphasize who is standing out to him.

"TreyShun Hurry is a newcomer that has really stood out and has done a really good job." Brohm stated Monday. "So, he and Antonio Meeks will be at the other position and rotating in there quite a bit. Dacari Collins is another addition that has stepped up, and he's got size that the other guys don't have and can really do some good things."

Hurry and Collins enter the 2025 season a bit under the radar to the nation, but Louisville fans cannot wait to see these hidden gems in action. Hurry wasn't used often last season for San Jose State, but was still able to earn 28 catches for 482 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including his breakout performance against Stanford when he logged 71 receiving yards and a touchdown.

As for Collins, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound receiver was a former 4-star commit to the Clemson Tigers, but comes over from North Carolina State. He logged 34 catches for 526 receiving yards and four touchdowns for the Wolfpack and will be an elite red-zone target for Miller Moss.

However, the Cardinals' once-thin receiver room doesn't stop there, as Brohm also gave praise to Kris Hughes and Terrance McWilliams. Louisville's wide receiver room is now emerging as one of its strongest units on the team and one of the deepest as well.

So, while the fans were worried about this room back in April, Brohm is here to tell the Cardinals nation days before the 2025 season kicks off that they have some playmakers on the outside and are ready to shock the ACC.
