Louisville basketball continues to dominate its 2025-26 season, improving to 6-0 after a dominant 87-46 victory over Eastern Michigan. Pat Kelsey has this program back and better than ever, as this Louisville team is 6-0 for the first time since 2019-2020 and ranked No. 6 in the nation.
Kelsey continues to lead this team dominantly, as the Cardinals' 41-point victory was their fourth 25-point or more win of the season. Last night the Cards saw Isaac McKneely shoot lights out and lead Louisville with 17 points, but it was the transfer off the bench who turned heads.
Adrian Wooley continues to prove why he was ranked a 5-star transfer, as fans are seeing this elite guard become more and more comfortable with this team.

Pat Kelsey says 'sky is the limit' for transfer Adrian Wooley
Wooley is gaining confidence in these last few games and is becoming an elite playmaker off the bench for Louisville. Entering this season, the Cardinals got three players from the Transfer Portal, and while everyone around the country was talking about McKneely and Ryan Conwell, Wooley flew drastically under the radar.
It took him a few games to find his rhythm and his role with this Cardinals squad, but it is becoming clear that Wooley has a bright future with Louisville.
"As he continues to get comfortable and progress, look out, the sky is the limit," Kelsey stated after the game on Wooley. "He is a terrific player. He was a dog. He was all over the offensive glass, making hustle plays, he was making 50/50 balls that he was getting, keeping possessions alive, bending, he's so tough, and a great teammate."
Wooley was ranked as a top 10 transfer in the Transfer Portal after he won the C-USA Rookie of the Year. He is a true sophomore and is averaging 8.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. While his shooting splits are lower than he would like, as he is shooting 25 percent from beyond the arc and 39 percent from the field, the elite transfer is showing how dominant he can be in other areas.
As Kelsey stated, he consistently attacks the glass, especially on offense, averaging 2.0 offensive rebounds per game, and he is an elite defender who can guard and force turnovers. He is a massive spark off the bench for the Cards, and his shot is going to start falling as fans see his confidence grow.
Last season, he averaged 18.3 points while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from beyond the arc. He is an elite playmaker and scorer, and as the season progresses, he will become the elite scorer he was a season ago. He is playing his style of game and isn't hesitating, and is making the right plays. He is attacking the rim while shooting open looks when he gets them.
Kelsey has high expectations for the 5-star transfer as he stated, "the sky is the limit", and with Louisville eyeing the NCAA Title, Wooley is going to have a massive role. The depth of this Cardinals roster is a glaring reason why they are so dominant, but looking ahead to next year, Wooley is most likely going to be the Cards' starting shooting guard and will be a star for this program for many years.
