Wow. Just wow. The Louisville football program just pulled off a massive comeback win as the Cardinals defeated the Pitt Panthers 34-27 despite being down 17-0 after the first quarter. It is only the second time in program history for Louisville to come from behind and win from a margin that big after the first quarter.

The Cardinals will likely now jump into the AP Poll top 25 and head into Week 6 4-0. Jeff Brohm and this Louisville team have a lot to improve on, but they showed grit and resilience, and this fan base is beginning to buzz with excitement. The Cardinals shift their focus now to their next opponent, the Virginia Cavaliers, who are coming off a massive top 10 upset over the Florida State Seminoles on Friday night.

It's hard to shift to next weekend as this win was crazy and there is so much to harp on, but Louisville has a massive game next weekend, and it appears Pat McAfee agrees, as he just sent a loud message to the ACC.

Pat McAfee just said the quiet part out loud on Louisville vs Virginia

Entering Saturday, Louisville had the third-best odds to win the ACC. Florida State's crushing loss to Virginia dropped its odds below those of the Cardinals, making the Louisville versus Virginia matchup this upcoming weekend a massive game for both programs.

ESPN's College Gameday previewed Louisville versus Pitt for a brief moment, and after that moment, the iconic sports analyst for ESPN and former NFL kicker chimed in about the Cardinals' showdown next weekend.

"That's a big game next week!" McAfee stated as Kirk Herbstreit wrapped up his statement on the Cardinals versus the Cavaliers next weekend.

The passion in McAfee's voice at the time allowed the fans to feel the energy and excitement in his message. It was an electrifying six-word message. The Cavaliers are coming off a massive upset, and the Cardinals are now coming off a huge comeback. This showdown might not have been one that many fans circled entering the season, but in Week 6, it has huge implications as Louisville is 4-0 and UVA is 3-1.

With all eyes on Miami, the Cardinals and Cavaliers are trying to make a name for themselves, and McAfee is absolutely right that this showdown from L&N Stadium is a "big one" and will have a massive implication in the ACC race.
