The college football season is almost two weeks away, and Pro Football Focus's Max Chadwick and Dalton Wasserman just gave Louisville football fans a season to get excited for. The two college football experts previewed the 2025 Cardinals, and when they dove deep into the Cardinals' offense, they just unveiled how lethal this offense can be this upcoming season.

Chadwick and Wasserman appear to be massive Brohm supporters as they refer to him as the quarterback whisperer throughout the video and have faith he can lead this team not only to another nine-win season, but both predict the Cardinals to make an appearance in Charlotte for the ACC Championship game.

PFF predicts Louisville football to dominate the 2025 season

Brohm has quickly made an impact during his short time with Louisville. He has skyrocketed this program back to relevancy as Louisville won 19 wins over the last two seasons, which is the most wins in two years since Teddy Bridgewater in 2013 and 2014.

The two college football experts both agreed that they are higher going into the year with Miller Moss and Louisville than last season when the Cardinals were led by Tyler Shough, and we all know how phenomenal a season Shough had. They think Caullin Lacy is poised for a breakout season, and Chris Bell is becoming one of the best wide receivers for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Chadwick and Wasserman are all in on how explosive this rushing attack can be and claim preseason All-American running back Isaac Brown as the No. 2 running back in the country.

The 5-foot-9,190-pound running back's 1,168 rushing yards and 7.2 yards per carry are the most returning rushing yards and yards per carry by a running back out of any Power running backs. The two experts gave Duke Watson his flowers, and they called the dynamic duo "difference makers." Wasserman highlighted that Friday night's blockbuster showdown against Clemson, and believes these two are the reason the Cardinals can dominate the Tigers for the second straight season.

Chadwick and Wasserman end their segment by picking the over 8.5 win total for the Cardinals and revealing they believe Louisville should be back in Charlotte and playing Clemson in the ACC Title game.

"If Miller Moss hits for them and Brohm gets him playing like he did with Plummer and Shough, this team is going to be a problem," Wasserman stated.

Both analyst then went on to make massive predictions for Louisville and not only take the over on their 8.5 win total, but believe this team will reach double-digit wins.

"I think they are going to start 8-1," Chadwick stated. "This could be an 11-1 football team." Both analysts then debate whether Louisville could even beat Miami in that showdown on October 17 at Hard Rock Stadium.

If Louisville can log 11 wins, there is no doubt they are making it to their first College Football Playoffs and returning to Charlotte. Pro Football Focus just set the expectations even higher for this program in 2025, and they made it clear that Moss and this offense have the potential to be one of the most dominant offenses in the nation.
